Gleipnir (グレイプニル, 2020) is a dark-action anime series you can watch online on iFILM. High schooler Shuichi Kagaya looks unremarkable — until a warehouse fire forces him to use the one thing he has kept hidden: the ability to transform into a giant mascot-like creature with a zipper down its back and a revolver on its hip. He saves a classmate. That was the mistake.

Claire Aoki isn't grateful — she's calculating. Her sister murdered their family, and she has decided Shuichi's power is the tool she needs to hunt her down. The relationship that follows isn't quite a partnership and isn't quite a hostage situation. It's both.
