Synopsis
Adults (2025), Season 1 is a comedy you can watch online on iFILM — eight episodes about a pack of twenty-somethings sharing one house in New York and fumbling their first real attempt at being grown-ups.
It does not go smoothly. Across the season each housemate takes a turn at capital-R Responsibility and mostly trips over it. One of them accidentally befriends a guy the neighborhood is hunting for. The group has to pick who gets to be Billie's medical proxy during a hospital trip. Somebody goes looking for meaning after a sudden loss, somebody throws a first dinner party, and eventually they open a mailbox nobody has touched in months. The running joke is simple: these people are not "good" yet, and on a bad day barely "people."
What carries it is the awkward, lived-in humor of the threshold into adult life, plus an ensemble where no single character hogs the room.
