Season 4
Saving the world... one episode at a time
Synopsis
Stargate SG-1, Season 4 — watch online on iFILM: 22 episodes from 2000, and the threat level is high before the opening credits finish rolling.
A single Replicator that survived the previous season's finale has reached a Russian submarine, and O'Neill and Teal'c are the only ones who can stop what happens next. Russia surfaces as an unexpected geopolitical player — they have their own Stargate, and the SGC can't pretend otherwise. The Tok'ra loan the team temporary superhuman abilities with predictably chaotic results. One episode traps O'Neill and Teal'c in a repeating ten-hour loop; it's one of the funniest forty-five minutes the show ever produced. Meanwhile Apophis is rebuilding, and SG-1 catches a grim vision of 2010 where Earth's alliance with its supposed saviors leads somewhere worse than the Goa'uld.
Season 4 earns its reputation as the most tonally varied run of the series — flat-out comedy and genuinely bleak science fiction coexist in the same season without either feeling out of place. Stream Stargate SG-1 Season 4 online on iFILM.
