Synopsis

The film does not frame this as a choice between a good option and a bad one; both men are genuinely appealing, which is where the actual tension lives.
Doremus shot a significant portion of the film through improvisation, and the conversations carry it — they have the texture of real exchanges rather than scripted beats.
