Synopsis
Godzilla Singular Point (2021), Season 1 — a 13-episode Japanese kaiju anime you can watch online on iFILM. A stray melody ties a handful of strangers together just as the world starts coming apart.
Grad student Mei catches an odd tune on the airwaves, and engineer Yun and his Otaki Factory friends hear the very same notes. First a flock of pterosaur-like Rodan hits the coast, then larger things climb out of the ground while a red dust starts bending physics itself. Mei's globe-hopping research and Yun's robot-piloting fights point at one fact: Godzilla is marching on Tokyo. Stopping the Catastrophe comes down to cracking a formula buried in the late Professor Ashihara's notes.
Atsushi Takahashi directed the show for studios Bones and Orange, with a script by sci-fi novelist Toh EnJoe, and the season treats theoretical physics as a co-lead — half the dialogue reads like a research paper, half like a monster brawl.
