Synopsis

Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) witness the exorcism of eight-year-old David Glatzel (Julian Hilliard). The demon leaves the boy. Months later, David's sister's boyfriend Arne Johnson (Ruairí O'Connor) stabs a man and tells police he had no control over his own body. The Warrens set out to build that case in court — and the deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes that someone deliberately invited this evil in. The trail leads far from Connecticut.
