Synopsis
Little Britain (2003), Season 1 — a British sketch show, eight episodes, watch online on iFILM. Matt Lucas and David Walliams play half the country between them, and this first season rolls out the gallery of oddballs that made the title.
Forget a plot — these are short recurring sketches that come back week to week. Teen menace Vicky Pollard machine-guns excuses at her teacher, then swaps her baby for a Westlife CD. Daffyd, "the only gay in the village," is horrified that someone else has bought a copy of Gay Times. Lou pushes the wheelchair while Andy springs up the moment his carer turns away, and Marjorie Dawes torments her Fat Fighters group. A plummy narrator frames it all like a straight-faced travelogue of the British Isles.
The comedy is crude, borderline, and very British — the run that turned Little Britain into a catchphrase machine. Stream Little Britain Season 1 online on iFILM.
