Synopsis
Belgravia (2020), Season 1 is a six-episode period drama you can watch online on iFILM, adapted by Julian Fellowes from his own novel. A self-made army supplier, James Trenchard, has bought his way into London's grandest postcode in the 1840s — and brought an old secret with him.
It all traces back to one ball on the eve of Waterloo. What passed there between young Sophia Trenchard and an aristocrat's heir quietly shapes the lives of everyone twenty-five years later. Anne confides in Lady Caroline, and the two women end up at odds. Debt, jealousy and the scheming John Bellasis pull the rest into a fight over inheritance, where the staff downstairs hold most of the cards. Honour, it turns out, has a steep price.
