Season 4
And now for something completely different...
Synopsis
Monty Python's Flying Circus Season 4, watch online on iFILM — six episodes, 1974, the final run. John Cleese had left the troupe; Chapman, Palin, Jones, Idle, and Gilliam made the last series as five.
Six episodes instead of thirteen. "The Golden Age of Ballooning" takes the full opening slot. Mr. Neutron threads across several episodes as a running character rather than a one-off sketch. A Hamlet sketch, the Most Awful Family in Britain, a court martial that keeps interrupting itself, and a party political broadcast that closes the whole series. Longer structures, fewer quick setups than in the earlier seasons.
A short, quiet ending to the show. The energy is noticeably different without Cleese — neither worse, just changed. Anyone who watched the first three seasons will feel it immediately. Stream Monty Python's Flying Circus Season 4 all episodes on iFILM.
