Synopsis
City Hunter (Nicky Larson et le parfum de Cupidon, 2019) is Philippe Lacheau's action comedy, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Nicky Larson is the world's best private eye and bodyguard, a shameless womanizer who never stops bragging. His new job sounds ridiculous: recover a stolen bottle of perfume. The catch is that the scent makes whoever wears it irresistible.
Lacheau directs, stars, and wrote himself a team in Élodie Fontan and Tarek Boudali. This is a live-action take on the cult manga and anime City Hunter, the one a whole generation grew up on. The French crew drops the hero into their own slapstick register: chases, disguises, fights set to the original theme, and a steady stream of gags. Pamela Anderson turns up in a cameo.
