Synopsis
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (2004) is a Cartoon Network animated series you can watch online on iFILM, created by Craig McCracken. The premise: when kids outgrow their imaginary companions, those friends don't just vanish — they end up at Foster's, a sprawling mansion run by the formidable Madame Foster and managed day-to-day by her granddaughter Frankie and a strict rabbit called Mr. Herriman.
Eight-year-old Mac refuses to give up his blue, blobby best friend Bloo, so the two cut a deal — Bloo stays at Foster's while Mac visits every afternoon. The house is packed with creatures of every shape: Wilt, the one-armed basketball player who apologises for everything; the loud but soft-hearted Eduardo; the oddball bird-plane-palm-tree hybrid Coco. McCracken built something genuinely funny without condescending to its audience — the comedy lands for kids and holds up for adults who grew up with it.
