Synopsis
The Incite Mill (2010) is a Japanese horror-thriller directed by Hideo Nakata — watch online on iFILM. Ten strangers accept an absurdly high hourly wage — 112,000 yen — to take part in what's billed as a psychology experiment at a mansion called Paranoia House. The first morning ends with a body, locked exits, and a weapon found in every participant's room.
What follows is a locked-room mystery built in the tradition of Agatha Christie: one person is killed at a time, suspicion circles the remaining group, and the killer stays hidden until the film decides you've earned the answer. Tatsuya Fujiwara and Haruka Ayase lead the cast as the two participants trying to reason their way through a situation designed to make reason impossible.
Nakata — who made the original Ringu — handles the countdown mechanics without leaning on gore, which makes the tension land differently than most death-game films. Stream The Incite Mill (2010) online on iFILM.
