Do Do-hee runs her late guardian's empire with the kind of composure that unsettles even the people around her. The demon Gu-won has spent millennia making deals and collecting souls, and nothing rattles him. Then a split-second collision transfers the tattoo that is the source of his strength straight onto her wrist. To get it back, he has to keep her alive. She is fine with the arrangement — mostly because she already has enemies of her own. Kim Hae-sook as the formidable family matriarch gives the show a sharp edge behind the romantic plot.
