Synopsis
Zorro (1957) is the original Disney adventure series you can watch online on iFILM. Guy Williams plays Diego de la Vega, a nobleman who returns from studying in Spain to find his California hometown under the boot of the corrupt Capitán Monastario. Diego is too smart to ride straight at a garrison — so he invents an alter ego instead: the masked swordsman in black who signs his work with a carved letter Z.
The show aired on ABC and ran for two seasons, cementing the image of Zorro that comics, films and TV have borrowed ever since. Gene Sheldon and Henry Calvin bring the comedy, the stunt work is sharp for the era, and the storytelling is clean adventure — duels, injustice, the underdog winning through wit and a fast blade.
