Synopsis
Mr Selfridge (2015), Season 3 — watch online on iFILM. Ten episodes open in 1919: the Great War is finally over, but Harry Selfridge meets the peace as a widower, and the old showmanship costs him more than it used to.
The season begins with his daughter Rosalie's wedding and follows a man trying to assemble a life again. Harry throws himself into a new charitable scheme, buys land at auction for a country estate and runs straight into a stubborn rival bidder, while a secret romance with Nancy Webb slowly comes into the open. The store marks the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, and Harry stakes everything on the biggest flash sale in its history — pure gamble. By the close, too many people are circling his fortune and his reputation, Lord Loxley chief among them.
Built from the real magnate's story, this third run is about the price of risk when you're past fifty. Jeremy Piven plays Harry softer, more exposed. It rewards viewers who stay for the character rather than the period gloss. Stream Mr Selfridge Season 3 online on iFILM.
