A young woman in a blue kimono shows up at his door: Aoi Sakuraba, his childhood fiancée, who has crossed the country alone to find him. Their families arranged the match years ago, then dissolved it quietly when Kaoru vanished. Aoi never agreed to that. Directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani, with voice performances by Ayako Kawasumi and Soichiro Hoshi, the series builds its story through restraint rather than incident — two people carefully learning each other again, episode by episode.
