Lamp Life (2020) is a Pixar short film you can watch online on iFILM — running just eight minutes, it fills in Bo Peep's story between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 4. Bo explains to Woody exactly how she and her three sheep spent all those years as a lost toy with no child and no shelf to call home.

Director Valerie LaPointe keeps it brisk and fun. Annie Potts voices Bo with a new edge that fits the more capable, self-reliant character Toy Story 4 introduced. The short sketches out a string of small adventures that explain why Bo came back so different — and makes her arc in the feature land a little harder on rewatch.
