Synopsis
Years and Years (2019), Season 1 is a British dystopian drama to watch online on iFILM — six episodes that follow one Manchester family across fifteen years of upheaval.
It opens in 2019 and then jumps forward, a year at a time, never letting the Lyons family catch their breath. A banking collapse, waves of refugees, technology that crawls under the skin — Stephen's daughter wants to upload herself to the cloud, his brother Daniel fights to get the man he loves out of Europe. And on every screen, Vivienne Rook keeps climbing: blunt, funny, frightening, her march toward Downing Street reshaping the country the Lyonses are just trying to live in.
