Stoic

Stoic (2009) is a prison drama based on a real case — watch it online on iFILM, directed by Uwe Boll. In 2001, three American inmates beat their cellmate to death after a card game went wrong, then staged the scene to look like a suicide. This film reconstructs that night almost in real time.

Four men. One cell. No way out. Edward Furlong, Sam Levinson and Shawn Sykes play the perpetrators; the action unfolds in a single space with minimal cuts, shot to feel like security footage rather than a movie. There is no score to tell you how to feel.
