Synopsis
The Pass (2016) is a British drama by Ben A. Williams you can watch online on iFILM. Two nineteen-year-old academy footballers from a big London club, Jason and Ade, share a Romanian hotel room the night before their first senior match. They mess around, they can't sleep. Then one of them leans in for a kiss.
What follows splits across a decade. Jason, played by Russell Tovey, climbs into stardom while burying that moment and performing the swaggering alpha the game demands of him. Ade goes the other way. The whole story unfolds inside three hotel rooms in three different years — a chamber piece adapted from John Donnelly's stage play for London's Royal Court.
