Season 1
Bring them back. Deserter pursuit.
Synopsis
D.P. (2021), Season 1 is a Korean military crime drama you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes about Private An Jun-ho, whose sharp eye lands him in the Deserter Pursuit squad that hauls runaway conscripts back to base.
Each episode is its own chase, its own broken story. Jun-ho and his partner Han Ho-yeol track a soldier who vanished at a subway station, go undercover to get close to a deserter's girlfriend, work a case while supposedly on leave. But behind every "catch him and bring him in" sits a harder question: why did these men run at all. Hazing hollows out the gentle Cho Suk-bong, and a routine pickup turns into something you can't just stand by and watch. By the finale, a deserter hunt has become a manhunt measured in minutes.
This Netflix series adapts Kim Bo-tong's webtoon, with Jung Hae-in in the lead. It isn't a show about discipline — it's a blunt look at what mandatory service does to people. Stream D.P. Season 1 online on iFILM.
