Synopsis
For Life Season 2 — watch online on iFILM. Ten 2020 episodes that pick up after Aaron Wallace walks free and finds his fight for justice is far from finished. The cell is behind him. The pressure isn't.
He's a lawyer on the outside now, relearning how to be a husband and father while Marie faces criminal charges for helping him earlier. The cases pull the show from the cellblock into the city: a mother who held hospital staff at gunpoint to save her son, a young woman fighting deportation whose case cracks open police corruption. Then COVID-19 hits New York, and Wallace heads back to Bellmore to expose how the prison buried its outbreak.
The back half turns on the police killing of an unarmed Black man. Aaron is appointed special prosecutor, standing for the first time on the charging side of the table. Shorter and more topical than season one, this run was written straight out of the summer of 2020. The finale is the hardest trial of his life.
