Synopsis

When Mi Nam is flown to the States for eye surgery, a panicking manager talks his sister Go Mi Nyeo into cropping her hair and joining the band A.N.Jell as a boy. The disguise wobbles from the first night. Sharp-tongued frontman Tae Kyung sees straight through her, then chooses to keep the secret, and what begins as constant bickering edges toward something neither will say out loud. Between rehearsals she chases clues to the mother she never knew, while rival singer He Yi waits for the right moment to weaponise the truth.
Written by the Hong sisters, the show set the template for the gender-bender K-drama and launched Jang Geun-suk and Park Shin-hye.
