Synopsis
He Ran All the Way (1951) is an American noir directed by John Berry — stream it online on iFILM. John Garfield plays Nick Robbey, a small-time thug whose clumsy armed robbery goes sideways fast, leaving him with a gun and no exit.
Nick forces his way into a family's apartment and holds them at gunpoint — not counting on the daughter, Peg (Shelley Winters), who can't quite settle on fear over pity. The whole film plays out in those cramped rooms: no car chases, just dread and closed doors. It was Garfield's final performance before his death in 1952, directed by John Berry just as the Hollywood blacklist closed in on them both. Watch He Ran All the Way (1951) on iFILM.
