Ghosts (Seasons 1–5)

A medieval knight, a Georgian aristocrat, a WWI soldier, a 1990s politician, and several others have been sharing the same rooms for decades.

Charlotte Ritchie plays Alison — the only living person who can see and hear them after a near-death experience. What makes the show unusual is that the entire cast co-wrote the scripts, giving each ghost a particular comic logic that holds up over five seasons rather than wearing thin. Simon Farnaby, Matthew Baynton, Jim Howick, and Ben Willbond are among the writers and performers.
