Kat joins a wilderness expedition — a group of women, all of them trying to get clear of abusive relationships and work out what comes next. The trip is designed to rebuild confidence. It turns into something else. The forest is being used as hunting ground by a crew of men who prey on travelers, and the women — Leisha Hailey, Sara Mornell, Nicole Marie Johnson among them — go from hikers to targets without much warning.
