Synopsis
Ink Master (2012– ) is a US tattoo competition you can watch online on iFILM. Artists from across the country fight for the title of Ink Master, a cover feature in Ink magazine, and a hundred-thousand-dollar prize.
Rocker Dave Navarro hosts, with Chris Núñez and Oliver Peck judging the ink. The rules are brutal. Every artist works on a living canvas, a volunteer handing over real skin for a permanent piece. Challenges shift week to week: realism, traditional, portraits, Japanese. At the end of each episode the judges pick apart line work and composition, and someone packs up their machines.
