Forged in Fire (2015) is the History channel reality competition you can watch online on iFILM. Four bladesmiths face off, turning raw steel into working weapons from across history — Viking axes, samurai katanas, ancient throwing blades and more.

The rules are brutal. In each episode the smiths first forge a blade on the clock, on camera, in a smoke-filled shop with the forge roaring. The weakest entries are cut, and the survivors head home to recreate an iconic historical weapon down to the last detail. Then comes the part everyone waits for: the tests. The judges hack, slice and abuse every finished blade to push its strength and edge to the limit under near-combat conditions. Wil Willis hosts, while master smith J. Neilson, weapons expert David Baker and martial artist Doug Marcaida judge — Marcaida's verdict "it will kill" became the show's signature line.
