Synopsis

Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn (1995), directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi at Toei Animation, is a 55-minute anime film you can watch online on iFILM. Masako Nozawa and Ryo Horikawa voice Goku and Vegeta respectively in what became one of the more fan-beloved entries in the DBZ theatrical run.

A young demon slacks off at the Soul Cleansing Machine in the afterlife, the device overloads and explodes, and out comes Janemba — a creature built from concentrated evil energy that warps reality around itself. Goku takes a shot. It doesn't work. Vegeta takes a shot. Also no. Their only path forward is the fusion technique Goku has been practicing on the Other Side, which means these two have to cooperate long enough to pull it off.

Of the twelve Dragon Ball Z films, this one earns its reputation: Janemba is genuinely strange as an antagonist — more cosmic glitch than typical villain — and the final battle in Vegito form is still cited by fans as some of the sharpest fight animation in the franchise.
