Synopsis
Roger Waters: The Wall (2014) is a concert film you can watch online on iFILM, capturing the former Pink Floyd frontman performing the band's 1980 double album from start to finish.
Shot across his 2010–2013 tour, one of the largest rock productions ever staged, the film follows a literal wall of cardboard bricks rising between Waters and the crowd as the show unfolds. Gerald Scarfe's animation, archival footage, and heavy pyrotechnics pour across it. Threaded through the spectacle is a quieter road movie: Waters driving across Europe to the graves of his father and grandfather, both lost to war, turning the staging into a meditation on grief.
Co-directed by Sean Evans and Waters himself, it welds stadium-scale sound to a blunt anti-war statement. For Pink Floyd fans and anyone who loves concert cinema done big, there's plenty here to see and hear. Stream Roger Waters: The Wall (2014) online on iFILM.
