Synopsis
The Fades (2011), Season 1 is a British supernatural drama you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes that follow seventeen-year-old Paul as he starts seeing the dead who never moved on.
Paul is a school outcast plagued by dreams of the world ending. Then a loner named Neil finds him and explains the rest: spirits trapped here rot with resentment, and a few have learned to claw their way back into the flesh. Paul falls in with the Angelics, the people who hunt these Fades, while his own powers swell and crack his friendship with Mac and his thing with Jay. More Fades are reborn, the town empties, and everything narrows toward one final stand.
Writer Jack Thorne made something rare for BBC Three — a teen drama that commits to being genuinely frightening rather than spooky-lite.
