Synopsis
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (갯마을 차차차, 2021), Season 1 — a Korean romantic comedy drama, 16 episodes, watch online on iFILM. Dentist Yoon Hye-jin arrives in the seaside town of Gongjin with her city precision and a single plan: open a practice and stay professional. The locals have other ideas. One of them especially.
Hong Du-sik — known to everyone as Chief Hong — holds no steady job yet shows up wherever someone needs help. He and Hye-jin are opposites in all the ways the genre loves. The first half of the season leans into that friction and the slow softening; the second half goes somewhere murkier, as Du-sik's sealed-off past starts to press through and Hye-jin begins to feel the weight of what he won't say.
