Synopsis
Dollface (2019), Season 1 — watch this Hulu comedy online on iFILM across ten episodes about a woman relearning how to be a friend after her boyfriend dumps her.
Jules spent five years disappearing into Jeremy, and her old friendships went quiet in the meantime. Now she has to crawl back into them. She leans on Stella, Madison and Izzy again, and keeps tripping over rules nobody wrote down: how to keep a secret, how to act around your ex at his sister's bachelorette, what it costs to be cast as the "boring one" while someone else gets to be fun. Whenever Jules spirals, the show tips into surreal daydreams — that is where the title comes from.
Creator Jordan Weiss shapes the season as a slow climb out of codependency and back toward real women, and a wedding weekend in Mexico tests whether the climb held. Kat Dennings plays the awkwardness with the dry timing the genre needs. Stream Dollface Season 1 online on iFILM.
