Synopsis
Drawn Together (2004), Season 1 — watch all 7 episodes online on iFILM. The Comedy Central series put eight cartoon archetypes — a Disney princess, a superhero, a video game adventurer, a 1920s bombshell — into one house and let the cameras roll.
The first season is mostly setup, but it is energetic setup. Clara manages to offend the entire house within the first episode and then has a secret of her own she didn't plan on sharing. Xandir spends the season circling an admission he has been avoiding. Toot Braunstein, the faded sex symbol, keeps colliding with the fact that nobody here treats her the way she expects. The show is at its most pointed in Season 1, before later seasons push the boundary-testing past the line where it stops being satirical and starts being just loud.
