Synopsis
The O.C. (2003) is a Fox drama series you can watch online on iFILM — all four seasons. Ryan Atwood (Ben McKenzie) grew up in working-class Chino and landed in juvenile detention. Public defender Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher) gives him a way out: move in with the family in Newport Beach, Orange County, where the houses have ocean views and everyone acts like that solves everything.
It doesn't. Sandy's wife Kirsten (Kelly Rowan) keeps her distance. Their son Seth (Adam Brody) is the school's resident misfit, suddenly no longer friendless. Next door, Marissa Cooper (Rachel Bilson) looks like she has it together; she doesn't. The four-season run follows these four through love, money trouble, parties that spiral, and the kind of family ruptures that waterfront property can't fix. Ninety-two episodes, finished in 2007.
The show hit in 2003 and rewired what teen drama looked like on American TV. Phantom Planet's California became the anthem of a generation.
