Synopsis
Bank Under Siege (Asalto al Banco Central), Season 1 is a Spanish crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM — five episodes set in Barcelona, 1981, just three months after a failed military coup.
Armed men walk into the Central Bank and take hundreds of staff and customers hostage. Maider, a young reporter, gets there before anyone else. While the police and the Civil Guard argue over whether to storm the building, she chases a thread of her own. Who are these robbers, really? Theories pile up across the episodes, and the official version keeps drifting from what actually happened. Inside the bank the pressure climbs, Number 1's past surfaces, and the clock runs out on everybody at once.
