October

October (2018) is a Hindi-language romantic drama from director Shoojit Sircar, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Varun Dhawan trades his usual song-and-dance roles for something quiet and raw — a story about love a young man only recognizes once it's nearly gone.

Dan drifts through a hospitality internship in Delhi, careless and a little cruel, while his fellow intern Shiuli takes the work seriously. The two barely speak. Then a rooftop New Year's party ends in a fall that leaves Shiuli in a hospital bed, and Dan starts spending his days at her side — drawn to someone he never bothered to know.

Sircar tells it slowly, with long silences, monsoon light, and the scent of the night-blooming flower that gives the film its name.
