Season 1
Synopsis
Tear Along the Dotted Line (2021), Season 1 is an Italian animated miniseries you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes that follow Zero, a Rome cartoonist, on a train to Biella with his armadillo-shaped conscience talking him out of every comforting lie.
The story moves sideways more than forward. Between stops, Zero digs up memories: meeting Alice at seventeen, a fleeting stint as the teacher's favorite, the grind of tutoring kids and hunting for any job at all. The jokes come fast and very Roman, but something heavier collects underneath them. Why this particular trip matters only lands in the final episode, and it reframes everything before it.
Written, drawn, and voiced by Zerocalcare, the show carries his fingerprints on every frame. Short, funny, and quietly devastating in a way most features never manage. Stream Tear Along the Dotted Line Season 1 online on iFILM.
