Synopsis
"Mr. Wrong" (Bay Yanlış, 2020) is a Turkish romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Ezgi has cycled through enough bad relationships to swear off men entirely. Özgür runs a successful restaurant, enjoys his bachelor life and considers romantic love a collective delusion. Then they end up as neighbors — and Özgür, inexplicably, decides to coach her on how to win over the man she actually wants.
Can Yaman plays Özgür with the right mix of confidence and cluelessness about his own feelings. Özge Gürel's Ezgi is warm, funny and just stubborn enough to make the dynamic work. Director Deniz Yorulmazer keeps the comedy punchy without turning it into farce — the show knows its register and stays in it. The love-or-logic debate the two keep circling around lands with more honesty than most rom-coms manage.
