Four detectives who never meet are chasing the same murder across time. Hasan works the present, Whiteman buries evidence in the forties, Hillinghead hits a wall in Victorian London, and Maplewood wakes into a world rebuilt after a blast. Slowly the cases bleed into each other: fingerprints skip across centuries, and a man called Elias is steering all of it toward rewriting history. The loop tightens, and every investigator pays for it.
