Swallowed

Benjamin is leaving for Los Angeles, so his best friend Dom lines up a quick way to send him off with cash in his pocket. The plan sounds simple: move a package across the border. The trouble is that the cargo has to be swallowed, and what's inside the wrapping is nothing like what was promised. One night spirals into a waking nightmare where something living shifts under the skin, and the only person who can help is more dangerous than any checkpoint.

Jena Malone and Mark Patton, the lead of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, bring real menace to this claustrophobic story. Smith shoots it close and physical, leaning on rising panic and the tenderness between the two men rather than cheap gore.
