Synopsis
Azumanga Daioh (2002) is a Japanese slice-of-life comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Forget plot — this is three school years, six girls and a couple of teachers, each running on their own brand of weird.
Ten-year-old prodigy Chiyo gets bumped up to high school and has to survive among classmates five years older. There's spaced-out Osaka, who lives in her own dreamy logic; Tomo, a hyperactive troublemaker; Kagura the jock; short-tempered Yomi; and quiet Sakaki, secretly desperate to pet the cats that keep biting her. Episodes are built from small stuff: lessons, culture festivals, summer break, a trip to the amusement park.
