Synopsis
Haunted (2018), Season 1 is the Netflix documentary horror you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes where real people recount supernatural events from their past while actors re-enact every chilling detail.
It works as an anthology, each episode its own self-contained case. The opener follows a boy who keeps seeing a woman hanging in his bedroom closet. From there: two sisters raised in a house ruled by a cruel father, a girl certain something evil lives in her grandmother's basement, an old well whose three child voices beg a boy to come down and play. One story circles back to recurring memories of strange medical procedures; another to a spirit bound to a gravestone that was never meant to be moved. How much is true and how much is a frightened memory talking is left for you to weigh.
Six short episodes go down in a single evening. It suits viewers who enjoy first-person ghost-story shows in the paranormal-TV mold and don't mind that the "true" label is up for debate. Stream Haunted Season 1 online on iFILM.
