Synopsis
The Pool (2001) is a German slasher from Boris von Sychowski you can watch online on iFILM. Graduates of an elite international school in Prague throw their farewell party somewhere strictly off-limits: the city's biggest indoor water park, rented out for a single night.
For a while it's everything they wanted — music, the pool, thirteen friends and the rush of total freedom. Then the lights cut out and a masked figure starts picking them off one at a time. The exits are sealed, phones are useless, and the panic sharpens into one ugly realization: the killer didn't break in from outside — he's one of them. A fun footnote for film buffs: a young James McAvoy and Isla Fisher both turn up here in early roles.
This is a solid teen body-count picture cut from the Scream cloth: the genre rules are in place, with chases down wet tiled corridors and a guess-the-killer hook running underneath. It doesn't reach for more than that, which is exactly right for a night with fans of vintage slashers. Stream The Pool (2001) online on iFILM.
