Synopsis

Silo (2023), Season 1 — Apple TV+'s 10-episode dystopian sci-fi you can watch online on iFILM. Humanity lives in a sealed underground silo; stepping outside means death, and asking why is enough to get you sent there.

Juliette is a mechanic turned reluctant sheriff who starts picking apart the death of a colleague. Each answer surfaces another locked door: a dead sheriff's unsent messages, a department head named Bernard who knows more than he admits, and records that should not exist. The case expands from one murder to the logic underneath the entire silo — who built the rules, who enforces them, and what they need to keep hidden.

Based on Hugh Howey's novel Wool, the season earns its tension through atmosphere and procedure rather than action. Rebecca Ferguson carries the whole thing. Stream Silo Season 1 online on iFILM.
