Season 1
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
Synopsis
The IT Crowd (2006), Season 1 — six episodes to watch online on iFILM, Channel 4's cult British sitcom written by Graham Linehan. The setup takes thirty seconds: Jen Barber talks her way into a managerial job at Reynholm Industries without knowing anything about computers, and gets sent down to run the basement IT department.
Her new team: Roy, a disgruntled tech-support drone with a talent for making bad situations worse, and Moss, a borderline-feral genius who still dresses how his mother packed him that morning, aerosol water mister clipped to his belt for ear-cooling purposes. The season runs these three through six increasingly unhinged scenarios — a red door that should stay closed, a lie about Jen being dead that spirals far past reason, and a stress-management seminar that ends predictably.
Linehan's timing is exact, and the three leads lock into their rhythm almost immediately. Stream The IT Crowd Season 1 online on iFILM.
