Synopsis
Watch Slap Shot 3: The Junior League (2008) online on iFILM — a Canadian hockey comedy and the direct-to-video third chapter of the Slap Shot franchise. A hopeless youth team is stuck at the bottom of the standings, so management makes the only logical call: bring in the Hanson Brothers, the franchise's most reliably unhinged players, to coach them. Leslie Nielsen joins the cast, and real NHL legends Mark Messier and Doug Gilmour turn up in cameo roles.
Director Richard Martin keeps it firmly in low-budget sports comedy territory: slapstick on ice, improbable training sessions and an underdog arc that surprises nobody.
