Synopsis
DarkGame (2024) is a British horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Howard J. Ford builds the film around a killer who turns torture into entertainment: kidnapped strangers are forced to play survival rounds while millions stream the broadcast live on the dark web.
The rules don't bend. You lose, you die. Each captive is pushed through a task with one stake for everyone — their life. On the other side of the feed is Detective Ben, a man who hates losing, racing to crack the mastermind's puzzle before the next round runs out of time. Ed Westwick, of Gossip Girl fame, leads the cast.
The hook is sharp and a little uncomfortable: the in-film audience tunes in to watch people die for fun, and you catch yourself doing exactly the same. It's blunt, fast and mean, aimed straight at fans of survival-game horror in the Saw mold. Stream DarkGame (2024) online on iFILM.
