Synopsis
Assassin's Creed: Lineage (2009), Season 1 is a three-part historical action short you can watch online on iFILM — the live-action prequel to the Assassin's Creed II video game.
Florence, 1476. The assassin Giovanni Auditore digs into a plot against Lorenzo de' Medici's allies, and the trail pulls him to Milan. Part two sends him to Venice, where he intercepts a coded letter passing between the conspirators; part three drops him in Rome, where the conspiracy turns out to be far wider and deadlier than he guessed. Giovanni is the father of Ezio, the game's hero, so these episodes set up everything that title later runs with.

Episode I

Pursuing Sforza's assassin's, Giovanni arrives in Venice where he intercepts a coded letter from the members of the conspiracy. Decoding this document in order to get to the top of the conspiracy becomes of extreme importance.

Unable to decode the letter, Giovanni decides to deliver it to Rome in order to unmask the ringleaders. But there he discovers that the conspiracy is much more widespread and dangerous than he thought.
