Synopsis

Arthur is locked up in Arkham State Hospital, waiting for his trial. Brendan Gleeson plays a hard-edged guard, Zazie Beetz returns, and Kathy Najimy appears as Arthur's attorney. Phillips frames the courtroom as a stage: the question isn't whether Arthur committed the acts, but whether the Joker and Arthur Fleck are even the same person.
